Tanggal 28 Julai adalah tanggal bersejarah bagi sahabat baik saya Masnoor kerana buat pertama kalinya beliau menjadi Pak Bidan. Hai kalau la Lia dan anak-anaknya pulang ke Malaysia nanti, hendak rasanya berbesan kat dengan anak-anak Lia tu. Maklumla cucu aku si Cute dan Cun tu kini kegersangan kerana terlah berkelana semenjak saya pindah ke Johor...

My Journey to Islam - Pierre Vogel
Semalam saya sempat mendengar ceramah bertajuk “My journey to Islam” dari seorang ahli tinju German bernama Pierre Vogel atau nama islam beliau Sheikh Salahuddin. Agama asal beliau ialah Christian Proteston memang cenderung pada agama sejak kecil lagi. Di usia 8 tahun beliau kerap ke gereja dan membaca dan mengkaji isi kitab Injil walaupun pada ketika itu penuh dengan tanda Tanya terutama tentang keesaan Allah. Walaupun setelah bertanyakan kepada Padri, namun tiada penjelasan yang memuaskan dapat di terima.
Menurut beliau setelah tamat sekolah tinggi, beliau di beri pilihan samada berkhidmat dengan masyarakat atau pun mendapat latihan tentera. Beliau memilih untuk berkhidmat dengan masyarakat. Setiap hari beliau akan pergi ke pusat rumah orang tua-tua atau dari rumah ke rumah untuk member makanan dan menolong apa yang patut kepada mereka. Ketika itu beliau terfikir kenapa la masyakatnya tidak seperti masyarakat orang islam yang mana semakin tua seseorang itu semakin di hormati.
Seperti biasa di setiap hujung minggu beliau akan berkumpul di satu pusat untuk melapurkan apa yang telah di lakukan di sepanjang minggu tersebut di samping mendapat latihan untuk perkhidmatan selanjutnya. Menurut beliau semasa di pusat itu ada seorang rakan yang beragama Kristian kerap mengutuk-ngutuk orang islam. Kerana tidak mau berbalah, beliau diam sambil membiarkan saja rakan nya berleter.
Di perjalanan pulang dari pusat tersebut, beliau terfikir apakah sebenarnya isi kandungan al Quran. Lantas beliau terfikir di manakah boleh dia dapat naskah Al Quran tersebut. Di takdirkan allah, semasa melawat kakaknya dalam perjalanan pulang, beliau ternampak senaskah terjemahan Al Quran yang di hadiahkan oleh rakan kakaknya; di rumah kakaknya. I membaca al Quran tersebut dari mula hingga akhir dan membuat perbandingan isi al Quran dengan isi Injil. Segala tanda Tanya beliau semuanya ada dalam al Quran. Semenjak dari itu beliau terus mengkaji al Quran dengan lebih mendalam dan kitab –kitab yang lain termasuk la sirah rasul, dan kitab sahih bukhari.
Walau pun beliau tahu islam adalah agama yang benar melalui pembacaan beliau sehingga beliau tau bacaan al quran, tau sembahyang walaupun masa itu beliau masih belum memasuki islam. Sehinggala pada satu ketika beliau terpaksa menemankan seorang Ahli tinju dari Amerika yang beragama islam untuk ke mesjid. Memandangkan beliau sudah sampai di mesjid, beliau pun duduklah di saf sembahyang seperti orang lain. Pada ketika itu datanglah seorang berbangsa Moroco solat bersebelahnya. Setelah bersolat, sahabat itu bertanya, “ Adakah anda seorang beragama islam dalam keluarga anda” dan dia menjawab “Yes” dan terus mengucap dua kalimah syahadah.
Begitu la sedikit kisah bagaimana allah ingin memilih orang yang ikhlas hatinya untuk memeluk agama islam yang suci. Moga-moga allah kekal kan kita dalam islam sehingga akhir hayat kita dan masukkan kita dalam golongan orang-orang yang di redainya.
Kini sheikh Salahuddin yang baru 8 tahun memeluk agama islam, amat bergiat dalam berdakwah untuk mengajak lebih ramai lagi orang memasuki islam. Beliau telah menuntut pengajian islam di Mekkah selama 2 tahun kini amat fasih berbahasa arab dan membaca ayat-ayat suci al Quran. Saya terasa agak malu membandingkan diri yang sejak lagi menjadi islam tapi banyak lagi ilmu-ilmu agama yang tidak tahu dan di praktikkan. Moga allah member kita hidayat dan kekuatan mengamalkan segala ilmu-ilmu tersebut.

Keluhan Rasa Hidup Di Doha ....
Assalamualaikum...
Hai bila hidup menrantau ni bermacam-macam rasa di dalam hati sanubari ni. Macam-macam rasa dan macam-macam ujian yang harus di lalui. Kena la tabah mengharungi dan menangani segala permasaalahan. Dari keluarga, anak-anak, cuaca, suasana baru, pekerjaan dan sebagainya.
Kadang-kadang rasa bersalah meninggalkan anak-anak isteri menguruskan keluarga di Malaysia. Terpaksa menghadapi kata-kata orang yang mungkin bagi sesetengah pihak tiada apa-apa tapi bagi kami yang menanggung agak sensitive rasanya. Contohnya bila cikgu anak-anak di sekolah bertanya... "tak rindu ke dengan ayah yang kerja jauh di Qatar"... Kadang susah nak explain pada anak-anak yang sedang membesar tentang persoalan itu. Ini suatu pengorbanan yang saya terpaksa lalui dan berdoa dan berharap mereka faham. Kerana semua ni saya lakukan untuk masa depan mereka.
Ada juga suara sumbang itu dan ini tapi kami terpaksa anggap semua tu adalah remeh kerana ada perkara yang lebih besar yang perlu di tanggung dan di lalui. Kadang saya berfikir kalau kita susah bukan ada yang nak tolong. Pernah kami sekeluarga terpaksa menangung kesusahan beberapa tahun yang lalu. Tak de yang datang menolong. Jadi kami membuat keputusan untuk harungi semua ini dengan tabah dan sabar.
Cuaca di Doha semakin memuncah panasnya. Bagi saya yang baru merasa suhu yang rata-rata melebih 40 darjah celcius agak panas di bandingkan di Malaysia. Kalau dulu saya heran macam-mana orang boleh hidup dan tinggal dia cuaca yang macam ni tapi sekarang saya sendiri tinggal di sini. Tapi alhamdulillah ianya tidak menjadi masaalah bagi saya walaupun tiap kali keluar tiupan angin yang mencecah pipi bagaikan bahan dari oven...
Waktu subuh di sini agak awal, Jam 3.30 pagi dah masuk waktu subuh dan naik matahari lebih kurang jam 5 pagi. Tapi alhamdulillah nampak keberkataan Negara ni kerana rata-rata banyak mesjid dan surau di Qatar dan saf-saf pada setiap waktu agak penuh juga. Berbilang bangsa and memakmurkan mesjid dan tak kira pangkat...
Apa yang saya lihat; Kadang-kadang dengan kesusahan yang kita alami tu; adalah ujian dari allah agar kita lebih dekat padanya.
Keadaan kerja kekadang tak menentu. Bagi mereka yang mempunyai kemahiran dan tahap skill yang tinggi, maka syarikat akan sedaya upaya cuba menyimpan pekerja tersebut. Tapi terkadang terpaksa di hantar dari satu projek ke satu projek macam bola agar tiap-tiap bulan syarikat boleh membuat claim dari Klien memandangkan turn-overnya tinggi. Begitu la modes operani syarikat di sini. Mujurlah syarikat saya agar besar boleh la dia menghantar ke projek-projek lain yang masih ongoing. Ada juga sahabat-sahabat Malaysia yang terpaksa pulang ke Malaysia setelah contract di tangguhkan. Sedih juga melihatkan mereka; merantau untuk masa depan keluarga tapi hampa akhirnya dan terpaksa memulakan semula pencarian kerja di Malaysia..
Tapi itu semua liku-liku hidup yang mematangkan diri kita agar menjadi peribadi dan bangsa yang kental yang mempunyai daya saing di peringkat antarabangsa. Berbekalan ketabahan dan kesabaran; harus kita lalui semua ini sehingga tercapai segala matlamat diri..

Terjemahan: "Barangsiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah, nescaya Allah akan menjadikan untuknya jalan keluar (dari masalah hidup). Dan memberikannya rezeki dari sumber yang tidak diduga. Dan barangsiapa yang bertawakkal kepada Allah, nescaya Dia akan mencukupkan keperluannya. Sesungguhnya Allah melaksanakan perkara yang dikehendaki-Nya. Ada diceritakan sebab ayat ini diberi nama 'Ayat 1000 Dinar', iaitu kerana seorang saudagar telah membayar sebanyak 1000 dinar untuk mendapatkan ayat ini dari seorang yang wara', dikatakan fadhilatnya ialah dapat menyelamatkan si-pembacanya dari malapetaka. Di dalam perjalanan pulang melalui laut, kapal saudagar ini telah dipukul ombak dan beliau terus membaca ayat tersebut. Maka dengan izin Allah s.w.t. hanya beliau seorang saja yang terselamat dari bencana maut itu. Bagaimanapun, saya masih belum menemui sumber asal kisah berkenaan. Jika ada sesiapa yang tahu, sila beritahu al-faqir ini.

Michael Jackson or Mikaeel Conspiracy?
Michael Jackson (MJ) was known as the most loving person in the world. He gave up most of his assets for charity and all his life, he fought for equality of the African Americans, AIDS victims, Against Drug Abuse, Against Abortion, Against Child Labor and secretly channelled his properties for the hungry children of the world. However, he wasn't peace at heart. He always think of himself as a child trapped inside a man's body. Being Peter Pan is all his dream, never to grow up, forever a child. That inspires him to build Neverland - a heaven for children. Children of all ages and races are welcomed to Neverland. MJ had so much love to give.
However, he made a mistake which he didn't know of the consequences. He saw the peaceful life his brother, Jermaine (Muhammad Abdul Aziz) had as a Muslim - true, Jermaine faced so much pressure that he moved to Bahrain.
In 1989, MJ made a press conference which shocked the world, "I have seen the Islam in the life of my brother, I have read the books about Islam. And I'd love to someday feel the calmness and peace of Islam...."
Since that, MJ's life was never the same again.
He was accused of so many accusations against child molestation. MJ was not someone who can deal with much pressure as he is a 'delicate child'. All the extortion and black mail followed after that. Everything he did was being seen as wrong in the eyes of the Media. All these are to influence his fans to hate MJ. If he is hated, then he would not be influencial anymore.
For several years, he stayed in England. Getting motivation from a long time friend, Cat Stevens, who had converted into Islam - named Yusuf Islam. From him, MJ learnt how Yusuf had survived being Muslim. He made friends with a song writer, Zain Bhikha too, who wrote a song titled, "GIVE THANKS TO ALLAH", which he wanted MJ to sing whenever he is ready.
Following his trial, MJ withdrew to Bahrain, where he was the special guest of sheik Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the son of Bahrain’s king. It was then that Michael began to give conversion more “serious thought.”
MJ stayed in Bahrain for approximately 3 years. He studied Islam, the prayers and learn to read the Koran (al-Quran).

Finally, he came back to Los Angeles and in November 2008 MJ had formally converted to Islam in a ceremony at a close friend’s house in Los Angeles.

He had a hidden agenda when he wanted to make a final comeback. He annouced in a press conference on March 2009, "This will be my final concert. I'll see you all in July...."
He planned that during his concert, he would announce that this is the FINAL concert as he wouldn't be performing anymore. He will declare that he is a Muslim and will only sing with Yusuf Islam and Friends.
At the end of the concert, he will be singing the song, "GIVE THANKS TO ALLAH" with Yusuf Islam. That is the reason why he chose London as his final concert venue instead of the USA. It was because he thought he could escape the USA's extortion, and that he could perform with yusuf Islam who is in England.
At 12.30am, 25th June 2009, he hugged his production manager and said, "After reherasing for 2 months, I am finally ready for the concert..."
Before leaving to sleep, he waved his dancers, "It was a good night everyone. I'll see you all tomorrow..."
The next thing... He was pronouced dead at 2.26am....
When 911 was called, there are so much questions asked. It is as if they didn't know who MJ is and where he lived. The questions asked are more towards to delay time.
The hospital said the autopsy result can only be obtained after 2 months - very illogical as even the worst African technology could obtain the result in less than 2 weeks.
MJ's family members opt for second private autopsy as they started to feel something fishy is going on. The result came out in about 4 days - MJ was drugged with high dosage of anaesthetic - drug that brings about a reversible loss of consciousness, if used to much could stop the heart from beating.
Another result which was not aired in the media was, MJ's stomach is empty of this drug, but his blood were filled with it - same case as the death of Marilyn Monroe.
The private doctors also found many needle marks, afraid to be forced injections given to MJ on his bed.
In CNN Live after a week, Barack Obama was interviewed. And he said, "I love MJ, I grew up listening to his songs. It is a great loss, but rest assured that there is no conspiracy in his death..."
Now, why must a President made such statement before the official autopsy result came out? How would he know that there is no conspiracy without the post-mortem result? Seems like someone is afraid of his shadows.
MJ was known to the world as a person who is against drug abuse. Why must he be addicted to drug, then? If he wanted to commit suicide, why rehearse for his concert? And why will he want to see his dancers the next day?
Enough about his death. I am sure people around the world is not stupid anymore. These supreme power can fool us during the Marilyn Monroe conspiracy, Martin Luther King and Princess Diana. But in this MJ's case, they left too many loopholes for those who think...!!

He had a hidden agenda when he wanted to make a final comeback. He annouced in a press conference on March 2009, "This will be my final concert. I'll see you all in July...."
He planned that during his concert, he would announce that this is the FINAL concert as he wouldn't be performing anymore. He will declare that he is a Muslim and will only sing with Yusuf Islam and Friends.
At the end of the concert, he will be singing the song, "GIVE THANKS TO ALLAH" with Yusuf Islam. That is the reason why he chose London as his final concert venue instead of the USA. It was because he thought he could escape the USA's extortion, and that he could perform with yusuf Islam who is in England.
At 12.30am, 25th June 2009, he hugged his production manager and said, "After reherasing for 2 months, I am finally ready for the concert..."
Before leaving to sleep, he waved his dancers, "It was a good night everyone. I'll see you all tomorrow..."
The next thing... He was pronouced dead at 2.26am....
When 911 was called, there are so much questions asked. It is as if they didn't know who MJ is and where he lived. The questions asked are more towards to delay time.
The hospital said the autopsy result can only be obtained after 2 months - very illogical as even the worst African technology could obtain the result in less than 2 weeks.
MJ's family members opt for second private autopsy as they started to feel something fishy is going on. The result came out in about 4 days - MJ was drugged with high dosage of anaesthetic - drug that brings about a reversible loss of consciousness, if used to much could stop the heart from beating.
Another result which was not aired in the media was, MJ's stomach is empty of this drug, but his blood were filled with it - same case as the death of Marilyn Monroe.
The private doctors also found many needle marks, afraid to be forced injections given to MJ on his bed.
In CNN Live after a week, Barack Obama was interviewed. And he said, "I love MJ, I grew up listening to his songs. It is a great loss, but rest assured that there is no conspiracy in his death..."
Now, why must a President made such statement before the official autopsy result came out? How would he know that there is no conspiracy without the post-mortem result? Seems like someone is afraid of his shadows.
MJ was known to the world as a person who is against drug abuse. Why must he be addicted to drug, then? If he wanted to commit suicide, why rehearse for his concert? And why will he want to see his dancers the next day?
Enough about his death. I am sure people around the world is not stupid anymore. These supreme power can fool us during the Marilyn Monroe conspiracy, Martin Luther King and Princess Diana. But in this MJ's case, they left too many loopholes for those who think...!!

MJ's family was about to give him a Muslim burial with the help of The Brotherhood of Islam. Summer Vacation
Rata-rata penduduk dan pendatang di Qatar ni benar-benar menantikan musim panas untuk bercuti. Cuti musim panas agak lama bermula dari bulan Jun hingga Ogos kalau tak salah saya. Masa ni sekolah di tutup mungkin pada masa ni suhu panasnya agak melampau di antara 35 darjah dah boleh mencecah sehingga 50 darjah Celcius.
Kebanyakkan pada musim ini ramai yang mengambil kesempatan cuti sekolah untuk balik kampung bagi pendatang yang bekerja di sini dan bercuti bagi penduduk tempatan. Suasana di sini agak lengang di bulan-bulan ini di bandingkan pada bulan-bulan yang lain. Kadangkala tiket ke sini pun agak murah kerana siapa la yang nak kesini di musim panas begini.... Tapi bagi mereka yang ingin mengambil kesempatan yang ada, ini la peluangnya.
Bagi penduduk tempatan ada yang bercuti sampai sebulan dan dua bulan sekali gus. Kebanyakkan mereka akan pergi ke Lebanon dan ada yang beli rumah di sana. Menurut kata cantik tempatnya dan teringin saya nak kesana satu hari nanti insyallah.
So bagi mereka yang cari makan cam saya ni tak kemana-mana pun summer ni. Terpaksalah menempuh cuaca panas, ribut pasir dan macam2 lagi la. Lagipun nak kumpul cuti agar boleh balik raya lama sikit.... Tiap kali balik mesti tak cukup masa, ke sana sini dan alih2 dah tiba masa untuk balik. Kadang tak sempat jumpa kawan-kawan, sorry la ye.

Another Sandstorm in Doha
Just heard the news on today's paper about Sandstorm approaching the GCC countries. We could even see it today with less visibility. In the report it stated that it will carry approximately 2 billion tonnes of dust and we were told to be careful while driving at night. For more detail read the Peninsula.

Peperiksaan Percubaan UPSR
My wife told me yesterday that for the next three days my daughter NurBatrishya will begin her UPSR trial. I know she has been trying her very best to score with flying colours but I always told her that it is just like another exam and the purpose of the exam is just to gauge our understanding in the subjects. Learn will sincerity and insyallah the rest will follow through.
I called her yesterday and her tips on what she should do i.e. sat the papers and once done move on to the next paper and the next.... Do not try to discuss papers which have past as it will disturb our focus and concentration on the following papers if there are one or two mistakes.
I also told my wife through sms to "Tiupkan ubun2 dia dan sapu daddy dia.. agar kuat semangat dia" Any my wife asked me "Sapu dengan apa?" I said "Dengan Tanganla... tak kan dengn pipi...." And I was wondering how she could not know to "sapu dgn apa?...." Then I realized there was a typo error it was supposed to be "Dada" ended up "Daddy"..
This is one classic example when the kids sitting for exam the parents get nervous more than the children....
Anyway Batrisyha, I know you can do it. Try you very best. This is just a trial and not the real exam but it gives you the feeling of the actual exam so that you are mentally prepared for the final. All the best to you.
